GOOD MORNING WEDNESDAY!!!
Posted by Niny on 23 Jul 2008
Well today we begin our 5 day stretch of 4 shows a day at the brand spanking new Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, Soouth Carolina! This will be the first time that we have ever played 4 shows a day but we are so looking forward to being one of the first bands to play at what will be considered one of the top amusement parks in the nation and ALL ABOUT ROCK AND ROLL!!!!
Now we know you wait each morning for our joke of the day and we spend hours deciding which one it should be so here it goes:
Q: Why did the melon and the honeydew have a big wedding?
A: Because they cantaloupe!
And in a time when we are still asking for forgiveness...here's our quote of the day:
The test of courage comes when we are in the minority. The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority.

WE LOVE YOU! ENJOY THE DAY!!

Live Video Chat last night!
Posted by Niny on 22 Jul 2008
For those who missed the awesome video chat last night I uploaded few highlights from it. Including the one where CJ and Steve tell us that Cjanna Bontana died in a horrible car accident and then got struck by a lightning and the one where they played 'Situation' for us. I know you all heard about the "extra" video that CJ had, I've been seeing some videos of it on youtube, I don't think it's fair to him to put it there, it's an invasion of privacy. Please if you know someone who might have it uploaded somewhere, ask them to take it down. Anyways, here are the highlights I uploaded to my personal youtube account.

New bulletin from the boys:
Well I hope al of you got to see Legally Blonde last nite on MTV. And guess what song was the finale(if you did not tune in)? It was our song, "The Life.
" We wanted to surprise all of you with this and I think we did! You can see the show again tonite and throughout the week!!!
Now we know you are waiting patiently for the joke of the day so here it is:
A tourist stopped a local in a village he was visiting and asked; “what is the quickest way to the lake? The local thought for a while. “Are you walking or driving?” he asked the tourist. “I’m driving.” “That is the quickest way!” the local said.
And our inspirational quote is especially telling as we find remorse and forgiveness for our past actions:
When life seems chaotic, you don't need people giving you easy answers or cheap promises. There might not be any answers to your problems. What you need is a safe place where you can bounce with people who have taken some bad hops of their own.

New look + new look on MySpace
Posted by Niny on 22 Jul 2008
As you can see, we have a new layout up. I know we didn't have the last one up for so long but I thought it was time for a change, don't get me wrong, I loved the last one but it was too hard to read the comments and the coding got messed up. I hope you like this one as much as I do! Comment and let us know ;]
Another thing, the boys have changed their MySpace, their background is awesome and they also have new banners. Check it out below:

The boys are featured on letssing.com. Here's what it says:
Push Play fast-forward
Four adorable guys. One MySpace page with more than a million hits. They’re together for less than two years, yet the pop-rock phenomenon Push Play has already been named Best Band on Long Island by Long Island Press. Their new CD, Deserted, has reached nearly 30,000 fans, and their iTunes release stayed in the top 100 for the first two weeks, which is unheard of for an indie band. In April they rocked Nokia Theatre—the only unsigned band ever to play on their stage.
Push Play consists of lead vocalist CJ Baran, 18, from Melville, guitarist/keyboardist Steve Scarola, 18, from Garden City, bassist Nick DeTurris, 18, from Commack, and drummer Derek Ries, 19, from Ronkonkoma. The guiding force behind the band is CJ’s mother and manager, Sue Baran, better known as the “momager.” According to CJ, “We take what she says as the word because she got us to where no one else could.” A newcomer to the music industry, Sue is the owner of several real-estate companies, and has a business-savvy mind focused on succeeding. Under her direction, the band printed up thousands of promotional cards and handed them out at concerts of other “tween-scene” artists, such as Good Charlotte. “We listen, we offer suggestions, sometimes she listens, sometimes she says no, but she’s never been wrong. So we take her lead, always,” CJ emphasizes.
Last December they sold out at NYC’s Irving Plaza, leaving a line of disappointed fans four blocks long. Recently signing with the mega-talent firm Creative Artist Agency, Push Play is fast-forwarding once again, but not without celebrating another milestone: three high-school graduations (CJ, Nick, and Steve) in June. President of his class at St. Anthony’s High School, CJ successfully completed the difficult balancing act as a musician and student. “Now I can finally devote all my time to my craft,” he says with a sigh of relief.
Throughout the year, Push Play has been performing local benefit shows to raise money for several charitable organizations. Proceeds from their CD are donated to the Education and Assistance Corporation, which focuses on enhancing the lives of foster children and the elderly. “We’d like to get their name out there, but ultimately we’d like to make a difference and give something back to the world,” says Sue Baran.
